NAACP Freedom Fund Awards Banquet 10/28

The Greater Texarkana Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) hosted their Freedom Fund Awards Banquet on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Truman Arnold Center (Texarkana College). The 2023 Banquet theme is Thriving Together. Village Communities of Texarkana Texas (VCTT) was honored to once again to be a major sponsor in support of this rewarding event and applauded outstanding community leaders that received honors that night.

The Greater Texarkana Branch has been in existence in Texarkana since 1918 and VCTT/HATT has supported the NAACP for several years as the Branch continues to advocate for the community, justice, and equality.
