HATT Homebuyer Education Course. The course where you can learn the importance and responsibility in owning your own home! HATT will be conducting the 8 hour homebuyer education course in July on the following dates: Part 1: Saturday, July 14th - 10 am - 3 pm. Part 2 Saturday, July 28th - 10 am - 3 pm at the Pecan Ridge Apartments Community Room (2210 W. 15th Street).

HATT & YOU: Community, Resident News and Information On June 8th from 11 am - 1 pm, HATT celebrated our Strong Families Initiative to empower fathers, mothers and children! All families were invited to come celebrate at the Southwest Center with fun, food, and family fellowship! Thank you to all of our vendors and partners who took out the time to come participate and offer valuable information to our families. Also, a special thank you goes out to Pastor Howard Thomas, pastor of Faith Beyond 4 Walls Worship Church, for being our inspirational speaker!

Westlawn Elementary School Dates to Remember in July From Amberly Shaw, Westlawn Family Engagement Specialist. The Westlawn Elementary Back to School Bus Tour is headed your way! On July 27, Westlawn staff will board a school bus and visit stops all through the Westlawn school zone to get students and families excited and informed about the start of the 2018-2019 school year! They will hand out treats and fun, free giveaways, as well as important information, such as school calendars, lists of back to school events, and resources for help with school supplies, clothes, etc. We will run our bus route from 10 a.m. - 12 noon and visit the following areas: Bright Street Homes, Hampton Homes, Pecan Ridge, Rosehill Ridge, The Oaks, Beverly Community Area, River Crossing Apartments, The Commons, Forest Point Apartments, Woodbridge Apartments & the Brookwood/Champion Place Area. Keep an eye out in your community and in your mailbox for posters and post cards with more specific information about the "bus stops" and times, or contact Amberly Shaw, Family Engagement Specialist, at Westlawn for more information at 903-223-4252 or email Amberly.Shaw@txkisd.net.
