HATT Implements Emergency (COVID-19) Protocols Effective Immediately

Agency to Observe Regular Operational Hours with Restricted Public Access to Administration Buildings

Texarkana, Texas (March 18, 2020) - In an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Housing Authority of the City of Texarkana, Texas (HATT) will implement its Emergency (COVID-19) Protocols, effective immediately. The Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) office, Administration building, and property management offices will have limited public access until Further notice.

HATT employees will continue to operate during regular business hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday - Thursday and 8:00am - 12:00 pm on Fridays. Residents have been notified of operational modifications due to the agency's emergency plan implementation. Recertifications, eligibility interviews and other business will be conducted by mail, phone, or e-mail. Scheduled inspections will continue unless tenants wish to reschedule them due to self-quarantine methods.
